GOLF
The Nerja Townhall has just approved plans for an 18 hole course on
the western side of Nerja. There now seems a good likelihood of work
starting on this long awaited course in the near future.
Meanwhile there are other courses available within about half an hours
drive (no pun).
These include,
ANORETA.
This is an 18 hole course at Anoreta, near Rincon de la Victoria about
30 minutes west towards Malaga.
BAVIERA.
Close to Torre del Mar and about 15 minutes from Nerja. This course
is now fully open and the back 9 holes are particularly attractive.
SALOBRENA.
A popular 9 hole course about 30 minutes drive east towards Motril.
VINUELA Area.
About 15 minutes north of Velez Malaga and about 30 minutes from Nerja.
There are 2 courses to be built close to the lake in the near future.
